Frankfurt – On Friday evening, November 7, 2025, a moment that touched hearts and gave hope was celebrated in the glamorously lit Skylines studios of Radio Frankfurt: Fechner Media was presented with the Golden Planet Award 2025 – for exceptional vision, deep social commitment, and tireless dedication to a sustainable, more just world.

When company founder Carl-A. Fechner took to the stage with his teammate, the atmosphere was one of appreciation. For over three decades, this media company has been asking the big questions of our time with passion, courage, and vision: How do we want to live? And how can we preserve our planet?

Fechner Media has set new standards with award-winning documentaries such as “The 4th Revolution,” “Power to Change,” and most recently, “Story of a New World.” The Baden-Württemberg-based company produces films that are more than just moving pictures – they are catalysts for change, awareness, and compassion.

“Story of a New World” in particular is considered the centerpiece of this mission. Together with his co-producer Johanna Jaurich, he has created not only a cinematic homage to the courage to rethink, but also a global movement that connects people on all continents. The film tells the story of real people who are breaking new ground with creativity, love, and responsibility – and it invites the audience to become part of this change themselves. Sustainably produced, emotionally told, and with a clear goal: to sow hope instead of fear.

Laudator Rainer Doemen, member of the jury for this year’s Golden Planet Award 2025, praised Fechner Media for its consistent stance on using film as a tool for social progress. “Fechner Media gives us pictures of a future that is possible – if we shape it together,” he said in his statement.

Visibly touched, Carl-A. Fechner accepted the award: “This prize belongs not only to us, but to all the people who work every day to ensure a future worth living. We tell their stories – and they are the true heroes of a new world.”

Amidst sparkling lights, emotional speeches, and an international audience from the worlds of business, politics, and culture, one thing became clear: this honor is more than just an award – it is a symbol of hope and responsibility.

And with the Golden Planet Award 2025, this vision is now being officially celebrated – as a shining example that the future does not begin somewhere else, but right here: with people who believe in it.
